tintUK (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides residential and commercial window film services across the UK. We work with freelance tinting specialists who carry out surveys and installations in their local areas. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

When you submit an enquiry or quote request through this site, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, postcode, property type, the service you’re interested in, and any details you add in the message field.
The public website does not take card payments for window film. Freelancers who buy a lead in the tintUK marketplace pay by card through Stripe. Stripe processes the card; we keep a record of the purchase, not the card number.
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, match you with an appropriate approved freelance tinting specialist, and keep records of past and prospective customers.
We pass your customer details directly to the freelancer best placed for your job so they can contact you, provide a quote, and arrange a site visit or installation. Those details may include your name, phone, email, location, and the notes from your enquiry.
With your consent, we may also use your contact details to follow up about your enquiry or let you know about relevant offers. You can ask us to stop this at any time (see “Your rights” below).
Enquiry forms on this site are provided by GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), a third-party CRM and forms platform we use to manage leads and customer communication. When you submit a form, your details are sent directly to our GoHighLevel account.
The marketplace stores freelancer accounts, lead pricing, and which freelancer bought a lead in Firebase (Google Cloud Firestore). A customer’s contact details are shown only to tintUK and to the appropriate freelancer who is assigned or buys that lead — not to other freelancers.
This website itself is hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms.
This site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The embedded enquiry form may set a small number of essential cookies needed for it to function correctly (for example, to prevent duplicate submissions).
We keep enquiry and customer data for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, deliver any services you’ve booked, and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it’s deleted or anonymised.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it’s used, and to receive it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@tintuk.co.uk. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or the law. The current version will always be available on this page.
