tintUK is a trading name of GI Training Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms apply when you use tintuk.co.uk, submit an enquiry, or arrange window film services through us.

tintUK works with freelance window tinting specialists across the UK. When you enquire, we match you with an appropriate approved freelancer for your area and job type.
We pass your customer details directly to that freelancer so they can contact you, quote, and if you agree, carry out the installation. Those details may include your name, phone number, email address, postcode or address, and the information you gave in your enquiry.
Unless we tell you otherwise, the installation contract is between you and the freelancer who takes on your job. tintUK introduces you to an approved specialist; the freelancer is responsible for quoting, scheduling, workmanship, and aftercare for that job, subject to any warranty we publish separately.
Submitting a form or speaking to us does not create a binding contract for installation. Quotes from tintUK or a freelancer are invitations to treat until you accept and agree a scope of work and price with the installer.
Availability of freelancers varies by area. We aim to introduce you to a suitable specialist promptly, but we do not guarantee a visit or installation on a particular date unless confirmed with you in writing or by the freelancer.
You must provide accurate contact and job details so we can pass the right information to a freelancer. You are responsible for arranging access for surveys and installation, and for telling the installer about any site constraints (for example listed buildings, fragile glass, or landlord consent).
Payment terms for the installation are agreed with the freelancer (or with us if we are the contracting party for that job). Lead purchases inside the tintUK marketplace are a separate B2B arrangement between tintUK and freelancers and do not change what you owe for the film work itself.
Approved freelancers may buy exclusive customer enquiries through the tintUK marketplace. Buying a lead gives the freelancer access to that customer’s contact details so they can follow up. Leads are sold once; prices and listing rules are set by tintUK and may change.
Freelancers must treat customer data carefully, use it only to quote and deliver the tinting job, and meet the quality and review standards we set. tintUK may suspend marketplace access where those standards are not met.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. Content on the site is for general information; film performance and suitability depend on the property and product chosen after a proper survey.
We may change or withdraw parts of the site or marketplace without notice. We are not liable for temporary unavailability caused by maintenance, hosting, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Where we introduce a freelance specialist, we are not responsible for the freelancers’ independent acts or omissions beyond what the law requires of us as an introducer, except where we have agreed in writing that tintUK itself is the contracting installer for that job.
Our published warranty terms (see the Warranty page) set out what is covered for film and workmanship where those warranties apply.
How we collect and share personal data — including passing enquiry details to freelance tinting specialists — is explained in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the website or enquiry service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their local UK court where the law allows.
